“We've got an obligation to our communities because the mission is there for people to want to be healthier. So when they're coming in, allow them to have that variety of product in your store rather than just a sugary treat. You start to stock these items. And the beauty of that is I'm a businessman at the end of it. And when you start seeing the till ringing it kind of initiates the feeling that you're doing the right thing.”

— Atul Sodha, Retail Ambassador

IN ALI'S WORDS

"Stephanie came into our store and started talking to me about it and having products that I didn't have in store, encouraging me to get those products in store, because of the space and of course, you're kind of apprehensive, but we did our best to get more healthy products in store.

And also where we displayed certain products as well. And also think about where we displayed certain products as well.

She recommended more options of having loose fruit too. So bananas are quite popular with children. They're quite easy to eat, I guess. And a banana will cost you something between 20 and 30p. Rye breads and crisp breads and things like that. They are really healthy. Everything has to be affordable because there's a lot of working class families here. So that's our main customer base. So everything is pretty much reasonably priced.

We were given a lot of products to trial in our store free of charge, which was really helpful. A lot of things I wouldn't have thought about stocking in the store, because I thought it wouldn't sell. But surprisingly, a lot of the products did sell really well. So we have them as regular lines in our store now."
